Nanoscience Inc. ('the Company') was notified today that Guy Spelman, chief
executive officer of the Company, acquired 150,000 ordinary shares of 0.25p each
('Ordinary Shares') on 4 October 2006 at a price of 10.5p per share. Following
this share purchase, Guy Spelman is now interested in 400,000 Ordinary Shares
representing approximately 0.23 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
