Notification of Interest in Shares
Nanoscience Inc. ('the Company') received notification on 16 August 2006 from
Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Limited, pursuant to Sections 198 to 202 of
the Companies Act 1985, that following the sale of 178,500 ordinary shares
of 0.25p each in the share capital of the Company, as at 13 July 2006, BNYTC
as Trustee of the MLIT Smaller Companies Fund no longer has a notifiable
interest in the Company.
